Surgeons Find 5-Inch Sex Toy That was Left in Woman’s Vagina 10 Years Ago

A 38-year old woman from Aberdeen, Scotland, who visited a hospital after complaining of severe weight loss and lethargy was found to be carrying around a 5-inch sex toy in her vagina for the last 10 years. The woman visited Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after complaining of a number of ‘bizarre’ symptoms, including rapid and severe weight loss, constant lethargy, uncontrollable shaking and mild incontinence. The doctors took out an x-ray and found a 5-inch foreign body inside her vagina.

When the doctors removed the object through surgery, they were shocked to find that it was a sex toy, which the woman admitted to having last used 10 years ago with her partner, though she has no memory of whether or not she had removed it as she was under the influence of alcohol.

The case has been published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine as it is the first time that a sex toy has been left inside a woman for such a long time.
