Nigerian public sector doctors have announced that they will be suspending a five-week long strike in order to deal with the outbreak.

With Ebola virus hitting the port city of Lagos, claiming two lives while infecting five others, the Nigerian public sector doctors have announced that they will be suspending a five-week long strike in order to deal with the outbreak.
A statement from the National Medical Association union listed "the incursion of Ebola into Nigeria" as a main reason for suspending the strike.
