Miracle Cures Do Exist

Statistical evidence has been provided by researchers that faith healing and special diets also serve to heal people. Radiation oncologist Michael MacManus of Melbourne led the research which studied as many as 2,337 patients who suffered from incurable lung cancer. Alternative medicine served to extend the life of 25 people for a period of five years, while another 18 were completely cured.

Dr Macmanus said that the data showed that a chance for survival and complete recovery existed for about 1 percent of the patients who underwent alternative treatment. Unorthodox cancer cures have included vitamin C, laetrile extracted from apricot stones, and the Gershon diet of raw vegetables. The findings of the study are published in the online edition of Cancer, the journal of the American Cancer Society.
