Mayo Clinic Health System is offering a six-week yoga class to enhance to your mood in Red Wing (Minnesota).
The class named “Yoga to Enhance Your Mood” will include yoga postures, breathing practices and meditation techniques.

Research has found that the practice of yoga has a positive effect on promoting a state of relaxed alertness.

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, said that although introduced and nourished by Hinduism, yoga was a world heritage and liberation powerhouse to be utilized by all.

Zed further said that yoga, referred as “a living fossil” whose traces went back to around 2,000 BCE to Indus Valley civilization, was a physical and mental discipline for everybody to share and benefit from.

Zed added that according to Patanjali who codified it in Yoga Sutra, yoga was a methodical effort to attain perfection, through the control of the different elements of human nature, physical and psychical.

US National Institutes of Health states that yoga may help one to feel more relaxed, be more flexible, improve posture, breathe deeply, and get rid of stress. According to an estimate, about 21 million Americans, including many celebrities, now practice yoga.
