Generally exercise is considered good and is known
to decrease the risk of heart attack but this latest research by the Tufts and Harvard Universities in Boston has shown that spikes in physical activity
like that during sex can have opposite effects and trigger heart attacks especially
if the person does those activities infrequently. People who lead an unhealthy lifestyle are at an
increased risk. But there is always a small possibility of risk in everyone's
case. Exercising regularly and regular sexual activity decreases the risk of cardiovascular disease and related mortality.
Scientists looked at 14 studies at
what caused heart attacks and found that all kinds of physical activity
accounted for 3.5 times increased risk and sex 2.7 times. The study was
published in the latest issue of the journal JAMA.
