Parents and welfare organisations have come down heavily on a new kit that is to be used for testing drugs in kids.
The test kit called HairConfirm required some 90 to 120 strands of hair about 4.5 cm to 5 cm long. The Dominion Post reported that parents should sent these hair strands to the lab, where it will be tested for the presence of marijuana, cocaine, opiates such as codeine and morphine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, ecstasy and PCP.
