Have Sex to Get Fit, Aussie Woman Told
Townsville woman Regina Senger has launched legal action against her former employers after they told her to have sex to recover from mould on her lungs. The worker developed this condition after working in a sub-standard place in a damp basement.

Solicitor Rebecca Jancauskas, of Shine Lawyers said her client repeatedly complained of headaches and respiratory illness after working in the basement. "Obviously she is very concerned about the long-term health implications," she said.

However the employers had callous disregard for her health and once asked her to have sex to get fit. "That just demonstrates the employer's flagrant disregard of the problems and of her symptoms," Ms Jancauskas said.

Ms Senger quit in March to get treatment for her illness and is now working part-time to take care of her children. "We think this should serve as a wake-up call to owners of premises that if they subject their employees or tenants to sub-standard work or living conditions they will be brought to account," Ms Jancauskas said
