The juicy strawberry has toppled the fizzy cola bottle off the number one spot as Britain's favourite sweet, a survey has shown.
The survey conducted by Woolworths.co.uk on more than 2,000 people, showed that the berry beat the cola bottle, which has held the top spot for years.

"Woolies is home to the original pic n' mix and our chart is a way of documenting the nation's likes and dislikes," the Telegraph quoted Woolworths brand director Matthew Hardcastle as saying.
"Taste in sweets change as much as any other trend. We had previously seen a movement to nostalgic sweets but the juicy strawberry is definitely the sweet of the moment and is a very contemporary choice," he added.
Despite the juicy strawberry's popularity, voters in Yorkshire and the Humber voted the white chocolate snowie as their favourite with 43 percent of Hull voting it as top choice.
The most popular sweets according to the survey are:
1. Juicy strawberry (21.3 percent)
2. Fizzy cola bottle (15 percent)
3. Chocolate egg (14.5 percent)
4. White chocolate snowie (13.3 percent)
5. Jelly bean (10.9 percent)
6. Fried egg (9.7 percent)
7. Jelly baby (7.9 percent)
