Brit Women Look at Mirror 38 Times a Day

Brit women surely are the leaders when it comes to checking themselves out in the mirror.

A new research has found that English women stare in the mirror an astounding 720,000 times in their life – around 38 times every day.

The study by female-friendly insurer Sheilas’ Wheels found that an average British female cannot go 25 minutes without making sure her hair is neat or lipstick is on straight.

However, on reflection, British men are not much better, with the average male looking at himself 341,000 times in his life – that is 18 glances a day or one every 35 minutes.

The study also found that looking at the mirror is hands on, as there are 185 million mirrors in UK homes, which are responsible for an average of 10 vanity checks a day.

This includes the day-to-day routine check first thing in the morning, last thing at night, before and after a shower and while cleaning teeth, shaving and drying hair.

The research also showed that the young are the vainest, with under-30s most likely to be obsessed with the mirrors at work.
