A new study has revealed that an ‘ideal day’ for men would mean more than four hours of sex and only three and a half hours of work. The research carried out by Unilever Compressed deodorants found that on an ‘ideal day’, men would spend four hours and 19 minutes having sex. They would prefer to work for three hours and 36 minutes and spend three hours and 22 minutes in socialising with friends and family.
Eating and drinking gets two hours and 38 minutes, while eating and drinking gets only 29 minutes.
Technology occupies a special place in men’s lives. So 64 per cent believe that modern technology has given them to do more in a day. Men also tend to utilise their commuting time. The survey said that one out of five men try to learn a new language or skill during the time when they commute.
"The demands of modern society mean that young men are under pressure to fit more and more into their lives," said Paul O'Connor, brand manager for Unilever Compressed deodorants, who commissioned the study, according to the Daily Mail.
It seems men want to make the most of their day. The research said 64 per cent of men use smartphones and tablets while on the toilet and 26 per cent made a to-do list during the intimate time with their partner.
According to the research, 70 per cent of male participants said they would not mind to reduce the number of friends if it meant they can devote more time for different activities.
It was also found that men do not like to waste time so 51 per cent of men below 34 years worry they are missing out on varied experience of life if they are not filling all of their time.
