Bladder Neck Incision for Patient Education


About - It is an endoscopic procedure done by a Urologist for relieving enlarged small prostate or bladder neck stenosis

Indication - It is indicated for young patients with bladder outlet obstruction or in old patients with steep bladder neck

Procedure - Usually done at 5 and 7 o’clock position using a small hook attached to a special surgical cautery through an endoscope

Complications - Bleeding, rarely incontinence, sometimes Retrograde ejaculation
