World Parkinson's Disease Day

World Parkinson's Disease Day (WPDD) was founded on the 11th April 1997 - the birth anniversary of Dr James Parkinson. This year marks the 22nd edition of the WPDD is being observed with the theme "Unite for Parkinson's", calling upon people from all walks of life to lend support for the common goal of raising awareness about PD and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
