'Superbugs' are bacteria which could become resistant to commonly used antibiotics and could become a global health threat. The research team in collaboration with Israel's Weizmann Institute of Science, and the NTU Institute of Structural Biology in Singapore has recently found clues on how to counter the 'Superbug' Antibiotic Resistance.A molecular mechanism by which the potentially deadly superbug 'Golden Staph' fights against the antibiotic treatment has been discovered by a research team from Monash University.
