How to Take Oxtriphylline and it's Dose


It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult- 4.7 mg/kg orally every 8 hours.
Child 1-9 years: 6.2 mg/kg orally every 6 hours.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with peptic ulcer, gastritis and hypersensitivity to the drug.
