How to Take Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine and it's Dose


It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the large muscle.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IM- Child: 2-10 months: 2 doses, 2 months apart. Additional booster dose at 12-15 months old but must be at least 2 months from the previous dose. 11-14 months: 2 doses, 2 months apart. 15-71 months: Single dose.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with nervous system problem (Guillain-Barr syndrome), and hypersensitivity.
