• It should be taken as directed by the physician.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

• The usual recommended dose is between 0.5 to 1 mg.
However, the dose depends on the underlying condition.
• EPA is present in fish oil capsules along with docosapentanoic acid.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

• EPA is contraindicated in individuals allergic to it.
