Symptoms are absent in the early stages of osteoporosis.No noticeable symptoms are found in the early stages of osteoporosis. The presence of the disease is realized only after a bone fracture.
Symptoms occurring late in the disease include -
- Fractures of vertebrae, wrists, or hips after a fall
- Pain in the neck or back
- Loss of height over several years and a stooped posture
