Contraindicated in patients who are taking carbamazepine, clarithromycin, efavirenz, certain HIV protease inhibitors, itraconazole, ketoconazole, nefazodone, nevirapine, phenobarbital, primidone, St. John's wort, telithromycin, or voriconazole, and known hypersensitivity.What is the dosage of Lurasidone?

* Caution should be exercised in patients with history of Alzheimer disease, dementia, Parkinson disease, trouble in swallowing, cancer, dehydration, alcoholism, heart, kidney, or liver impairment, seizures, high or low blood pressure, high cholesterol, high or low blood pressure, any allergy, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.* It may cause drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, or blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery and get up slowly from bed while taking this medication.
* Avoid alcohol consumption.
* It may raise blood sugar level; monitor sugar level regularly.
* Patient may develop with mental or mood changes; watch them carefully.
