A dentist in Ohio, United States, has offered to buy out all of the excess candy leftover after Halloween in order to make sure that the kids will not eat it themselves.
Mansfield based Dr Craig Callen has offered $1 per pound of unopened candy that the kids bring to his office between October 31 and November 4 and added that he will be throwing in a new toothbrush as a bonus.
AdvertisementDr Callen is joined by his associates, Anthony Lordo and Mathew Snipes, who revealed that they will be spending up to $1,000 in the buyback deal.
Speaking to the Mansfield News Journal, Dr Callen said, "Visiting your dentist twice a year and brushing your teeth are great preventive measures, but doing away with excess sweets would really give your teeth a healthy boost."
