What Can Cause Phantosmia?

Phantosmia is caused by numerous factors, such as:

  • Change in airflow through the nasal passage
  • Head injury
  • Migraines
  • Schizophrenia
  • Depression
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Tumors of the brain (multifocal cerebral gliomas)
