Nothing can Stop the Romance Between Co-workers in US

One-third of companies in the United States have a policy forbidding romantic liaisons between co-workers, but nearly four in 10 US workers ignore the ban, a study released Monday showed.

While 33 percent of US companies have a policy against romance between co-workers, 38 percent of workers say they met their "significant other" at work, according to the data compiled from various polls on Yahoo's HotJobs website.

More than half of those polled said they knew of a romantic relationship between two colleagues at work.

Around one-quarter said they had dated at least one colleague, 10 percent had dated two and 12 percent had gone out with two or more.

Between 7,200 and 19,200 people responded to the polls on HotJobs.
