Medical Word - Microkeratome

Ans : this is a surgical device that is used to cut flaps of the cornea. It is affixed to the eye by use of a vacuum ring. After the micrortome is fixed and secured to the eye a very sharp blade cuts a layer of the cornea of a predetermined depth.
