Medical Word - Impaired Glucose Tolerance

Ans : Blood glucose levels occasionally higher than normal but below the level required to diagnose diabetes. Even though persons with IGT may demonstrate a high level of glucose when tested, they may never develop diabetes. This condition used to be referred to as "borderline," "subclinical," "chemical," or "latent" diabetes.
