Obesity: Over weight

Urinary tract infections: Refers to anywhere in the whole length of the urinary system from the kidneys, through their collecting channels, the ureters, bladder and urethra.

Tumors: A pathological tissue growth, characterized by uncontrolled multiplication of cells.

Trauma: An injury (as a wound) to living tissue caused by an extrinsic agent.


Menopause: The time of life when a woman's menstrual periods stop permanently. Also called "change of life."

Ultrasound: A diagnostic imaging technique which uses high-frequency sound waves and a computer to create images of blood vessels, tissues, and organs. Ultrasounds are used to view internal organs as they function, and to assess blood flow through various vessels.

Multiple Sclerosis: A disorder of the central nervous system marked by weakness, numbness, a loss of muscle coordination, and problems with vision, speech, and bladder control. Multiple sclerosis is thought to be an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system destroys myelin. Myelin is a substance that contains both protein and fat (lipid) and serves as a nerve insulator and helps in the transmission of nerve signals.

Cystoscopy: This is a test conducted to test the bladder and ureteric orifices.

Diabetes: A condition in which the body cannot properly store or use glucose (sugar), the body's main source of energy.
