1,809 Deaths from Swine Flu in 2015

The total death toll due to the swine flu virus in India has jumped to 1809, since the beginning of 2015.

Gujarat and Rajasthan have been the worst affected states so far, with over 397 deaths reported from Gujarat and 391 in Rajasthan.

The swine flu epidemic has affected more than 27,000 people. Symptoms of swine flu include high fever, headache, muscle pain, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain and internal and external bleeding.
