by Dr. Trupti Shirole on November 8, 2011 at 4:17 PM

Mandy Sellars, 36, who is suspected to suffer from Proteus syndrome, claims that the stump after her leg amputation is growing back. Proteus syndrome is a rare condition which causes atypical growth of bones, skin and head.

Mandy was born with abnormally large legs and feet due to this congenital syndrome.

However one of her limb had to be amputated as it was infected with septicemia. 22months later now Mandy has reported the stump is growing back fast and weighs about 42pounds.
