Iran Swine Flu Outbreak Kills 33 People in Three Weeks: State Media

The swine flu outbreak in Iran has claimed 33 lives in two provinces of southwestern Iran over the past three weeks, reported the official IRNA news agency.


IRNA quoted Deputy Health Minister Ali Akbar Sayyari as saying, "There have been 28 deaths in Kerman province and five in Sistan-Baluchistan." The minister also warned that the virus was likely to spread to other areas including the capital Tehran.

‘33 people have died due to the swine flu outbreak in two provinces of southwestern Iran over the past three weeks. The virus is likely to spread to other areas including the capital Tehran.’
