This medication is an appetite suppressant, prescribed for exogenous obesity. It works by decreasing appetite.
When should Phentermine not to be taken? (Contraindications)
Contraindicated in patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, increased eye pressure, blocked blood vessels, who are taking MAOIs or within 14 days of MAOIs administration and hypersensitivity.What is the dosage of Phentermine?
The recommended dose is 30 mg once daily about 2 hours after breakfast.
How should Phentermine be taken?
It comes as a tablet and capsule to take by mouth, 30 minutes before food.
