In Andhra, HIV Patient Forced to Deliver Baby on Roadside
In some shocking news, it has emerged that a HIV patient was forced to deliver her baby on the roadside in Andhra Pradesh.
The 28-year-old woman delivered her baby in Suryapet in Andhra Pradesh's Nalgonda district. The woman had apparently visited a government hospital for the delivery on Sunday, but doctors moved her to an Observation room after they came to know her HIV status.

Later on they refused to handle her case. The woman delivered on the roadside and was assisted by another woman who accompanied her to the hospital. She delivered the baby after being shielded by saris.

Andhra Pradesh State Aids Control Society director, V.Chandravadan, told NDTV that the hospital has suspended two duty doctors. The woman who delivered a boy is not at a community center for HIV patients
