A Mr. Kansius on CBS 60 Minutes 4/13/08 showed a re- invention of the wheel in a machine said to demolish Cancer tumors through injecting nonmetallic particles into the tumor and then exposing the tumors to electromagnetic field to heat and excite the nano-particles to a temperature which kills the Cancer.Kansius underwent extensive Chemo and Radation personally and wants a better answer. What he has developed is, of course, a diathermy (over 100 years of use). The important fact he uncovered is the use (in opposition to accepted practice) of the heat/metal properties to kill Cancer. Very innovative and would appear effective. Bless his work and the revelation that the means has been there for a century unrecognized.
