 Campaign Against Ecstasy
A campaign, gunning at the use of ecstasy among teenagers has been launched by Minister for Mental Health ,Helen Morton.
The state government will be spending about $270,000 on the campaign helping teens between 15 to 17 years. "This is the key transition time when young people are highly influenced by their environments and their social networks and we know that this is the time when those folk are most at risk," she said.

The worrisome fact has emerged that while other drug use was declining, the use of ecstasy was still strong. As the minister warns, “…and there is a growing body of research suggesting ecstasy is harmful in both the short and long term."

In the light of this fact, the multimedia campaign becomes very important.
