Costochondral Syndrome ?
Acute and temporary inflammation of costal cartilage (that which connects each rib to the sternum at the costosternal joint).
Cause(s) :
Idiopathic
Symptoms :
Chest pain - Sharp and stabbing, worse with movement, exertion and deep breathing
Swelling or tenderness in ribs
Pain at sternum
Breathing trouble
Nausea and vomiting
Diagnosis and Tests :
