Stokes-Adams syndrome

What is Adams-stokes Syndrome ?

Heart block with -

Slow or absent pulse
Sometimes accompanied by convulsions
Loss of consciousness for a few seconds

Cause(s) : Sudden cardiac arrest

Symptoms :

Unconsciousness for few seconds
Low pulse rate
Seizures (Sometimes it may occur)
Abnormal Heart Rhythm
Feel flushed after recovery

Diagnosis and Tests :

Blood pressure monitoring
History of heart disease
Assessing previous attacks
ECG (Electrocardiogram)
