Ergotron, Inc., a Nortek Company (Nasdaq: NTK), today announced the launch of its new StyleView® Telepresence powered and non-powered carts and accessory kits as part of its commitment to deliver highly-featured healthcare products at the most affordable price points. These telepresence carts enable healthcare professionals and patients to connect, consult and collaborate anywhere at any time with real-time videoconferencing, helping reduce the cost of improved patient care.
While the overarching field of telemedicine offers a myriad of benefits to care professionals and their patients, the solutions available are often complicated and cost prohibitive. Ergotron's StyleView® Telepresence Carts help facilitate the power of video consulting easily and affordably. The Telepresence carts, when integrated with telemedicine equipment, enable real-time delivery of more personalized, timely, and cost-effective care. They also extend the reach of specialized experts to rural, remote, underserved and senior populations, regardless of geographic location.

The five Telepresence carts include three SLA-battery powered units (single, dual, and back-to-back monitor configurations), and two non-powered configurations (single and dual monitor). Key features and benefits include:
- Each unit has hospital-grade construction, and is equipped with a drawer, a large drawer for equipment storage, a camera shelf, a CPU/Codec holder, and a medical-grade power strip for flexibility.
- Safe and secure, the carts are being UL 60601-1 certified, with autonomous rechargeable AC power system to deliver safe, inexpensive and dependable power, incorporating ESD safety compliant SLA batteries.
- The carts are light-weight, yet stable, for easy maneuvering across any surfaces, and provide 20" of height-adjustment for ultimate caregiver comfort seated or standing.
- For existing StyeView cart customers, Ergotron has also launched five new StyleView accessories to reconfigure StyleView Carts with LCD pivot and one drawer into the new Telepresence units. These kits include: Camera Shelf, the Large Drawer, and the CPU/Codec Holder.
