Doro also recently announced the first steps of the global mHealth initiative selected specifically for the North American market. Aimed at helping the senior mobile user to maintain health and well-being, the company's easy-to-use phones will now be used for the delivery of care assistance applications, services and solutions through a connection to the world's leading diabetes management solution and a one-touch medication reminder service.
MyGlucoHealth and Doro will provide a joint consumer mobile solution to improve the everyday management of diabetes and the lives of those affected. The MyGlucoHealth testing device is the world's first integrated Bluetooth-enabled blood glucose meter that will integrate seamlessly with the Doro PhoneEasy® 410gsm.
Medixine and Doro will deliver one-touch medication reminder services via the company's mobile phones. The EasyMed Reminder is an integrated service that will enable users of Doro handsets to better manage their prescription medication on a daily basis.
