Ambiguous genitalia - The external genitalia does not resemble that of a male or a female

Genotype- Genetic make up of a person including his hereditary information


Turner's syndrome - A genetic disorder where the female has only one X chromosme

Klinefelter's syndrome - A genetic condition where the male has an extra X

Karyotype - A chromosomal analysis which is carried out by arranging the chromosomes according to their size and location of the centromere
