Addiction: Psychological or physiological dependence on a drug. With true addictions, severe symptoms appear when the addicted person stops taking the drug on which he is dependent

Androgen Anabolic Steroid: A drug similar to the male hormone testosterone that builds muscles and strengthens bones, but has adverse side effects


Testosterone: Male sex hormone produced by the testes

Osteoporosis: A disease in which bones become thin, weak and are easily fractured.

Androgen: A male sex hormone that promotes the development and maintenance of the male sex characteristics
