Two More Swine Flu Deaths in Bhopal, Toll 51

Two more people died of swine flu in Bhopal on Sunday, taking the toll to 59. Sources said that both the patients were females and were undergoing treatment at different hospitals.


However, the local authorities have confirmed only one death. Out of these two patients, one was a resident of Guna district and was undergoing treatment at Hamidia Hospital.

The 32-year-old woman's case was the first from Guna district. She was undergoing treatment at district hospital in Guna. Later, she was brought to Bhopal.

Another suspected case was referred to Bhopal from Guna on Sunday. "The 27-year-old woman was undergoing treatment at National Hospital, Bhopal," sources said.

Another 50-year-old woman, a resident of Garib Nagar, succumbed to the flu. She was undergoing treatment for swine flu at a private nursing home in the city.
