by Kathy Jones on July 28, 2013 at 11:25 PM

Workplace website Job Advisor carried out a survey among more than 1,000 employees in Australia regarding the treatment they felt they were receiving from their employers.

The study found that nearly 15 percent said that their company was a bunch of 'control freaks,' with another 12 percent feeling that their company took all the credit for good deeds, News.com.au reported.

Around 11 percent said that backstabbing was rife in their office place, while 8 percent said that finger pointing and 'put-down artists' were commonplace in their workplaces.

35 percent of respondents said that they had a good relationship with their employer and called them 'respectful and wise' to work for.

14 percent employees said that they felt empowered to make their own decisions and over 10 percent said that they trusted their employer and could follow them anywhere.
