'Sorry', a Common Word on Most Brits' Lips

A recent survey has revealed that the average Brit uses the word �sorry' close to eight times in a day and almost 3,000 times a year. Some of them were apologetic more than 20 times in a day.

�Sorry' was found to be used in the workplace the most and then while shopping or when one is back home with the family, the survey revealed.

Many a time �sorry' was used when there was no need to be apologetic- for instance when somebody stepped on their toes or bumped into them.

It appears that �sorry' is used when there is nothing else to say!
