Presence of Mold Prompts Recall of Medical Products from Med Prep Consulting

All medical products compounded at Med Prep Consulting, Inc. in New Jersey have faced a recall due to threat of contamination due to mold.

The announcement regarding the recall was made by Med Prep after a Connecticut hospital found mold in one of its products and informed the company.

These products are not available to patients at retail stores as they are used by hospitals and health care professionals at doctor's practices or clinics.

The units that have received the recalled Med Prep products have been informed to remove the product and send it back to the company.
