by Savitha C Muppala on June 11, 2011 at 11:59 PM

Nearly 93% of New Zealanders wake up atleast once a night making them restless sleepers, a survey of more than 11,000 people by Bedmaker Sleepyhead' has revealed.

Though half of those surveyed said they slept seven to eight hours a night, much of that was disturbed sleep.

Nearly 65% woke up two or more times in the night and only 7 per cent actually enjoyed sound sleep through the night.
