Kids Safest With Grandparents Behind the Wheel

In a surprise finding by researchers, kids are the safest when they are being driven by their grandparents.

According to the study's lead author Dr.Fred Henretig, the rate of injury was less when grandparents were at the wheel.

Some of the reasons for this could be that grandparents may just be extra cautious owing to their age and vulnerability. Further, they experience an added sense of responsibility in ensuring the safety of their grandchildren.
