Former Nanny Requested to Take Care of Royal Baby By Prince William

Jessica Webb, Prince Williams former nanny was asked to take care of baby George.

Webb, 71, protected young William and Harry when Charles and Diana went through traumatic divorce, the Mirror reported.

William along with Kate approached "granny nanny" to be the 20-day-old prince's first charge.

According to reports, the unmarried retired nanny is also tempted to help the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Meanwhile, Kate, 31, regards herself as a modern mother and hopes to carry on doing as much as she can herself with support from her mum Carole Middleton.

But, the couple have been warned by both their families and royal courtiers that they need to set up a formal system of care once the summer is over.
