‘Whole Foods Market has recalled Maytag raw milk blue cheese due to possible listeria contamination.’

The testing in Iowa has revealed that two lots of products from Maytag Diary farms tested positive for listeria.

Listeria contamination is contagious as it can lead to sickness, nausea and diarrhea. Children and pregnant women are more susceptible to listeria infection.

Whole foods is asking people to either discard the cheese packets or return it at any of their outlets.
