Andrea Mitchell of NBS News Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Andrea Mitchell, Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent of NBC News' spoke about her recent diagnosis with breast cancer and also shared that her prognosis is very good.

Sixty-four year old Mitchell was extremely lucky as her doctor was able to detect it in the early stages when she had gone for her annual screening.

Offering a piece of advice to all women, she said, "I'm looking at this as another of life's lessons, for you women out there, and the men who love you, screening matters. Do it. This disease can be completely curable if you find it at the right time."
