This medication is an fluoroquinolones antibiotic, prescribed for certain types of infection such as chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, gonorrhea, urethritis and cervicitis and other infections. It fights against the bacteria in the body.

When should Grepafloxacin not to be taken? (Contraindications)


Contraindicated in patients with liver failure, QT prolongation, and hypersensitivity.

What is the dosage of Grepafloxacin?


PO- The recommended dose range is 400 to 600mg/day, for 1 to 10days.

How should Grepafloxacin be taken?


It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food.

What are the warnings and precautions for Grepafloxacin?

* Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver disease, heart disease, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
