Sharon Stone to Help Raise AIDS Awareness in Dubai
Noted Hollywood actress Sharon Stone will be chairing the amfAR foundation to raise the AIDS awareness within the country.

Shivani Pandya, managing director of Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), announced that the amfAR foundation will make its first debut at the Dubai International Film Festival and hopes that the audiences will come up with a nice response.

The amFAR is one of the world's leading non-profit organisations dedicated to the support of Aids research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of Aids-related public policy.

In the meantime, Sharon Stone presented spiritual guru Mata Amritanandamayi with an award for her humanitarian work at the human rights film festival Cinema Verite in Paris.

Stone revealed that Amritanandamayi was a "remarkable angel" and is best known for blessing her devotees with a hug and has a huge following both in India and overseas.
