A board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner and lactation consultant, Benassi is an Auburn University alumni, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree. Benassi would later attend the University of Maryland and graduate with a Master's Primary Care PNP degree.
In addition to other services, Benassi will be providing lactation consulting in White Oak's Silver Spring and Gaithersburg locations, helping new parents achieve success with breastfeeding.
She is an accomplished track and cross-country runner and is fluent in Spanish. Benassi also enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and enjoying family time with her husband and their two dogs.
