ThermoLife's nitrate-related inventions are based on groundbreaking recognitions regarding the benefits of supplementing the diet with nitrates, particularly to increase athletic performance, and have contributed to the popularity of nitrates in the sports nutrition industry. ThermoLife has licensed its patented technology to some of the largest sports nutrition companies in the United States. The Patent Office's recognition of the patentability of ThermoLife's patent claims will allow ThermoLife to continue its patent enforcement actions, including those that have been stayed as a result of reexaminations.
